We enjoyed our stay while visiting Michigan Tech nearby with our teenager. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. Parking is a little challenging, especially in the winter. We were in room 302, and our TV did not work. Price was reasonable, staff was friendly, decent breakfast, hot shower. Would stay again.
Hotel was super clean and the staff were great! Kids loved the pool. Leroy had the continental breakfast fully stocked and super clean. Will stay again!
Great hotel that is close to town! I enjoy the Pool, Hot Tub, and Sauna. I frequent here while in town and they always meet my needs. The location is very close to restaurants, stores, and MI Tech. The hotel is about 1:40 west of Marquette, 50 minutes south of Copper Harbor, and 25 minutes away from no phone service. Whether it be a comfortable bed, a beautiful drive, or the hospitality of the locals… I highly recommend staying here.
The room was very clean. The beds were amazing. Clean fresh linens. You got everything you were looking for in a chain hotel. the lobby area is very comfy. Pool and hot tub. It accepted my dog which made me very happy. Most of all the staff was super friendly and helpful. They are working really hard provide a clean hotel.
I’ve been to this hotel twice and I’ve enjoyed it so much that I thought I’d write a review. The sauna and pool are wonderful and the rooms are awesome! They even upgraded our room for free! Overall I love this hotel!
Very clean and comfortable stay before our Isle Royale trip. The room was well appointed, and we loved relaxing in the spa and sauna. Only downside was the single-cup coffee vending machine—I like a bigger cup to start my day! Otherwise, a great hotel and we’d definitely stay again.
The staff were very pleasant, the rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. However, the noise made it feel like the door and the windows were wide open. With both shut, I could hear people talking, not yelling, in the parking lot and in the halls.
Enjoyed our holiday weekend here! We ended up booking this place because there were no more campsites available. We were glad we had a hotel room rather than a campsite, considering the unusually hot weather mixed with all day rain. We had an odd numbered king room on the third floor. Our room was spacious, but the best part about our room was that the window faced the rock hill. That meant that we were able to leave our window blinds up the entire time--yes even at night! There were a lot of kids around during our stay, but we never heard them while we were in our room. Staff were pleasant and for the most part left us alone (which we appreciated). Breakfast is the usual continental free breakfast-- not terrible, not amazing. However, if you're expecting more from breakfast, there are many wonderful options close by. There are also many fast food options close. There is a sauna in their pool room. Overall, we would stay here again.
